Magic of the Desert and Imperial Cities 14 days - Marrakech-Marrakech

1st day – Marrakech
Greeting at the airport and hotel transfer. Dinner and night.
2nd day – Marrakech-Aït Benhaddou-Ouarzazate (250km)
We will reach Ouarzazate through the Tizn n’Tichka pass and make a stop at the village of Aït Benhaddou, Morocco’s most impressive and best preserved ksar. Dinner and night in Ouarzazate or in the region.
3rd day – Ouarzazate- Todra Gorges (180km)
Departure towards Tineghir, a small town built at the foot of a palm grove dominated by the ancient Kasbah of El Glawi. Dinner and night in Tineghir or in the region.
4th day – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (200km)
Erfoud will be our starting point to go to Merzouga, famous for its sand dunes that rise like living walls at the door of the desert. Sunrises and sunsets are a colorful sight that just can’t be missed. Dinner and night in Merzouga or in the region.
5th day – Merzouga – Midelt (280km)
We continue towards Midelt, a mountain town set next to an ancient kasbah. Located 1500m high, it is the main stopping town between the High and the Middle Atlas. Dinner and night in Midelt or in the region.6th day – Midelt-Fez (230km)
Departure for Fez via the villages of Azrou and Ifrane. Dinner and night in Fez or in the region.
7th day – Fez
Founded in 790 by Moulay Idriss, Fez is Morocco’s religious, intellectual and artistic ìcapitalî. To discovering Fez dive into the maze of narrow and winding alleys, cut off by staircases and covered passageways. Dinner and night in Fez or in the region.
8th day – Fez-Meknes (130km)
We continue towards Meknes via the archeological site of Volubilis. Meknes, with its city walls long 25 km, its wide parade courses and its gigantic buildings. Dinner and night in Meknes or in the region.
9th day – Meknes-Rabat (200km)
Rabat is a peaceful capital, with a successful town planning for which no means were spared. Dinner and night in Rabat or in the region.

10th day – Rabat-Oualidia (250km)

Departure along the coastal road towards Oualidia, between El Jadida and Safi. Dinner and night in Oualidia or in the region.
11th day – Oualidia-Essaouira (150km)
The road follows to Essaouira, the ancient ìMogadorî. The ancient city walls bestow a certain style to this town. Dinner and night in Essaouira or in the region.
12th day – Essaouira
A unique Medina expands within the peaceful walls built in the 18th century: right-angled wide roads, lined with squat arcades open up on the souks.
13th day – Essaouira-Marrakech (180km)
Return to Marrakech, the ìPearl of the Southî, the kingdom’s beating heart. The city is symbolized by the liveliness of Djemaa el Fna square, the Koutoubia minaret. Dinner and night in Marrakech.
14th day – Marrakech
Free day. Dinner and night at the hotel.
15th day – Return
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight back home.
